We care about equal treatment – signification of the Diversity Charter
10 December 2019 has become an another important date for ING Tech Poland. That day we have celebrated The International Human Rights Day. With reference to this occasion we took another step forward in creating an organizational culture based on mutual respect - we signed the Diversity Charter.
„Values and behaviors that are inscribed in the organizational culture of our company are fully reflected in the reality that we create every day. One of the fundamental value is respect for others, regardless of gender, age, disability, nationality or religion. By signing the Charter of Diversity we affix seal to what we identify within ING from time immemorial.” - Paweł Michalik, Head of ING Tech Poland.
The Diversity Charter is a written declaration, signed by the employer, in which it commits itself to implement a policy of equal treatment and diversity management in the workplace.
„As a signatory of the Diversity Charter, we commit ourselves to create an atmosphere and organizational culture that ensures respect for diversity and educate employees and potential candidates on anti-discrimination and anti-mobbing issues. We are also obliged to develop, promote and comply with the policy of equal treatment, as well as to report annually on the activities undertaken in this area. I am glad that ING Tech Poland is part of a group of institutions for whom respect for diversity is essential in day-to-day work.” – explains Anna Mirek, HR and Communications Area Lead
The Diversity Charter is an international initiative supported by the European Commission. In Poland, the initiative is coordinated by the Responsible Business Forum - the largest NGO in Poland addressing the concept of corporate social responsibility.
