ING invites you for the Lion's Den Risk Modelling Challenge
ING Bank Śląski and ING Tech Poland invite you for the Lion's Den Risk Modelling Challenge. This is a unique opportunity for students and specialists interested in data analysis and risk modelling. During the event, which will take place from 31 May to 1 June in Warsaw, participants will be given a task to analyze credit risk using bank, financial and macroeconomic data. The best of them will receive cash prizes totalling PLN 27,000. Registration began on 4 April and will last until 6 May.
The purpose of the Lion's Den Risk Modelling Challenge is to build a community focused on risk management and to familiarize young people with issues related to the use of data sources, technologies and tools in financial institutions.
In May 2018, ING Bank Śląski organized first of this kind challenge on risk management. The event was very popular not only because of the awards, but also because of the innovative themes that inspired its participants to create unique and innovative solutions. This year the Lion's Den Risk Modelling Challenge is organized jointly by ING Bank Śląski and ING Tech Poland from 31 May to 1 June in Warsaw.
Registration for this year's event is conducted by www.lionsdenING.evenea.pl and will last until 6 May. The organizers invite enthusiasts of data analysis: students and graduates of higher education - up to 2 years from their completion – to participate in the event. All willing to participate can enter the challenge either individually or in teams of three or four members. All registered attendees will receive the preliminary assignment related to statistical analysis. People who send the correct solution will qualify for participation in the Lion's Den Risk Modelling Challenge.
During the event, participants will have 8 hours to face the analytical task. They will also have workshops and lectures conducted by ING specialists who deal on a daily basis with risk modelling. In the final stage, the jury will select up to six best teams that will present the results of their work to them. The winning team will receive a cash prize of PLN 12,000, the organizers award PLN 9,000 for the second place, and PLN 6,000 for the third place.
