Talking about Agile with 500 people

Over 30 speakers from around the world, 2 days of intensive lectures, sessions with trainers and coaches, 1 Dojo workshop day and 1 after party -  AgileByExample 2018 conference ended last Wednesday. We had the pleasure to be a platinum sponsor!

The conference was attended by over 500 participants who could not only listen about Agile, but also had the opportunity to exchange experiences with other people. There were many great speakers - Kevin Goldsmith, Joshua Kerievsky, Angel Medinilla or Lisette Sutherland to name just a few. And as a part of the “Ask the Expert” session, participants could talk to our agile coach - Zuzanna Bartosz.

During the conference we also held a contest for all participants! Our challenge was to take a picture showing one of the scrum values, using specially prepared comic bubbles. The main prize was a specially tailored agility training with one of our agile coaches. The contest was won by Eliza Mizera, who presented a scrum value “courage” by entering the speaker’s stage :)
And that’s how Edyta Ryszkiewicz-Tum, our agile coach, comments on the event:
“It was a great opportunity to meet and share our experience with practitioners not only from Poland but also from around the world. Lectures were only a part of the whole event – we could learn as much, if not more, from networking during the breaks. During the course of our ongoing transformation into an Agile organization we have gained a lot of experience ourselves. Therefore, we had also a lot to share with others”.

AgileByExample is an annual conference and take place in Warsaw. It’s been organized since 2011. It’s one of the best conferences focused on Agile. The theme of the conference is based on practical application of agile methodologies, implementation examples and exchange of experiences.
