Spring Job Fairs

2 months, 5 cities, 2 voivodeships, 9 job fairs, almost 8000 participants and 500 litres of orange juice: these figures could summarise our involvement in the spring job fairs.

This season was particularly intensive for us. We took part in 9 fair events, mainly targeted at IT students and specialists.

Such events are the best way to get to know the company and its people. We believe that personal contact is crucial, and fair events provide an opportunity to meet and talk to company representatives, often in a spontaneous and natural atmosphere. Visitors can dicover the company's profile, check out current job opportunities and leave their resumes.

As in the previous years, a number of people working at ING Services Polska (ISP) were involved – not just from the recruitment and communications team, but also from various IT areas. People who work with projects on an everyday basis are best prepared to discuss what working in our company is like and answer the questions asked by visitors.

By taking part in job fairs, we can recruit new employees and promote our company. What is most important, we have the opportunity to meet potential candidates face to face. Our employees are eager to participate in job fairs, where they can personally talk about the company, the atmosphere at ISP and, most importantly, development opportunities,” says Anna Mirek, Manager of the Communications & HR Management Department.

A short review of the factors that impacted our career choices is enough to realize how impactful the contact with a candidate may be for their future,” says Sebastian Stanisz, Senior Service Manager, who represented our company at the Absolvent Talent Days in Katowice.

A short conversation with us during a fair may as well determine the future career decision of a young person. By taking part in such events and talking to students and graduates, we can look at our job from another perspective, and realise what interesting technologies we work with and what interesting projects we work on,” adds Sebastian.

A job fair is also an opportunity for lectures, which we could not miss. Our experts were eager to share their knowledge on the necessary competencies of an IT specialist, how to prepare for the recruitment process and how to protect your business against hacker attacks effectively. The lectures were very popular with fair visitors.

The next fair event will take place this autumn.
