How to protect your business against hacker attacks effectively?
This question was answered during the “Intelligent IT network and infrastructure management” conference by Krzysztof Cudak, IT Security Manager at ING Services Polska, who shared his IT security expertise.
The event was held by the Polish Institute of Business Development in Warsaw. The participants discussed the everyday threats in corporate networks and methods to implement a comprehensive security system.
Krzysztof Cudak talked about “SIEM systems as a basic service of an effective SOC.”
“At the invitation of the Polish Institute of Business Development, I prepared a presentation about the use of SIEM tools for the purpose of protecting the business against APT attacks.
During the talk, I presented the benefits and downsides of the solutions available on the market, including agent and agent-less platforms, and discussed the proper approach to the development of logs for protected platforms using the SDLC process.
The participants learnt the basic attack methods used by potential hackers and were presented with many hints on how to design security services in organisations without a SOC,” said Krzysztof Cudak.
Our colleague's presentation was very well received by the audience. Congratulations!
