There was rain, sweat and real sport satisfaction but when it comes to helping, nobody slows down! From the early morning hours (well, at least early as for the weekend) we were getting ready for Katowice Business Run, a charity race that took place in Katowice. Our tent was getting crammed up with fruit, nuts and orange accessories. Then our runners stopped by to say ‘hi!’ and the tent filled up with positive energy! Good vibes helped made the rain go away, so that our sportsmen had perfect running conditions.

Agnieszka Grabałowska, Oskar Poprawski and Przemek Danysz, also known as the team ‘Skiller’, won the first prize in the #opendata hackathon organised by the Ministry of Digtal Affairs! The task of the third edition was to create an application that uses public open data. Skiller came up with an app that helps job seekers find vocational courses.
Weeks of preparations, 57 participants, 18 teams, 21 mentors and liters of coffee - second edition of Lion’s Den Risk Modelling Challenge is over! The challenge was a two-day event organized by ING Tech Poland and ING Bank Śląski in Warsaw. It centered around the future of risk – modelling, big data analysis and AI in banking. As risk management is the strategic heart of banking and fintech, we were looking for bright, talented students and young professionals to design the future of modelling and risk analysis.
ING Bank Śląski and ING Tech Poland invite you for the Lion's Den Risk Modelling Challenge. This is a unique opportunity for students and specialists interested in data analysis and risk modelling. During the event, which will take place from 31 May to 1 June in Warsaw, participants will be given a task to analyze credit risk using bank, financial and macroeconomic data. The best of them will receive cash prizes totalling PLN 27,000. Registration began on 4 April and will last until 6 May.
